“So, next time you hear this innocent children’s song, remember that it was originally recited in taverns by drunken, bloodthirsty buccaneers as a code to recruit other pirates for their next murderous voyage!”

A meme, ganked from Friede:

1. How did you first find my journal?

2. Why did you originally decide to friend me?

3. What’s your favourite part of my journal?

4. What’s your least favourite part of my journal?

5. Ask me a question. Be as random as you want.

6. Recommend a band to me. I’m curious what you think I should be listening to.

I’m half-tempted to make my next layout “Bandwagonspotting.” But only half.

Just saw the Penn Players’ “Zombie Prom.” An evening of singing, dancing, and bad physics puns! Muaha!

And now I do math. How anticlimactic.

How surreal. After listening to concert bootlegs for the past month, it’s now rather disconcerting to listen to the “official” versions of certain Tori Amos songs. Rather like the feeling I get listening to the OBCR Rent CD after listening to Renata’s Curtis boot extensively.

Anyway, yay for Tales of a Librarian! It and BNL’s Everything for Everyone arrived today, so I’m a happy girl.

I can’t wait to see what they say about Bush in the history books. Though in the meantime, I know I’ll sleep easier with the knowledge that Bush is doing all he can to protect the sanctity of marriage! *drips sarcasm*

Did you happen to read any of the trial brief?

“Our obligation is to define the liberty of all, not to mandate our own moral code.”

But oh! I almost forgot! Those pesky Patriot Acts. You don’t seem to care about individual liberties, do you? *seethes*

Weren’t slaves forbidden to marry at some point as well? Mmm, gotta love actions that guarantee large groups of people status as 2nd class citizens.
