And classes are over for my college Freshman year. That is so weird. After exams, I’ll be 1/4 of my way through college.
Gah.

Woah, trippy! They changed the Mapquest layout around! How surreal…
This is so true. Ah, the Silmarillion. What are we ever to do with you? *gets back to reading*
EXCUSE ME?!!?!? Read this article and explain to me again why homophobes claim gay people are infringing on their rights.
More on the bill here.

WHOO. Trojan Women? SO GOOD! Gah, the entire cast just kicked mountains of bootie. We made Ko, my future roommate, cry four times. I’m thrilled about performing again the next few nights. Huzzah and w00t!
Schlien and Allison, will you be able to make it? I haven’t heard from you in aaaaaaaages!
AHA! Insanely tall kid, I found you! You could not hide for long!
Near the beginning of the school year, I saw an insanely tall guy in the dining hall. Curious, I walked up to him (very inobstusively) and eyeballed our relative heights. I’m 5’9″ and the top of my head was level with his armpit.
And then there he was again, at the station next to the Trojan Women station on Locust Walk, trying to raise money for MS! How lucky way I, to choose this walk shift? I was subtle and cunning and took his picture to show the world his freaky tallness. Ever the fangirlish dork, I asked him what year he was in and if he ever did theatre, to see if he would still be around in two or three years when I finally finish “Men at Arms.” Unfortunately, he was a Senior. Oh well. Maybe he has a brother.
So here is The Man That Would Be Carrot. Alas and woe.
What the… this is not cool!

June 1st?! I did not approve this! Onwards, to Amazon.uk! HarperCollins, if you’re not going to publish simultaneously with the UK, then you’re not going to get any business!
Meanwhile, on the other LiteraFandom front, I’m getting quite excited about HP3. This deluge of new pictures fills me with squee. And image #12 reminds me somewhat of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, which is always fun. And what’s this rumor about Gandalf having a teensy cameo in CoS?
Mmm, quasi-freedom. No rehearsal tonight! I managed to churn out 7 pages of Film Noir last night for our peer review today, and I actually feel pretty good about it. M seems to have liked it, and she’s a writing goddess, so I guess that’s good. Rehearsals have been insane, and I’m very weirded out that tomorrow (er, rather, tonight) is opening night. Guh. I went to dinner with a bunch of my Trojan Women friends and we totally geeked out and had a blast.
Still waffling over whether or not I should go to the March For Women’s Lives on Sunday. I really want to go, but I’m afraid of missing the train back to Philly and not getting back in time for Sunday’s performance. Evil schedule demons.
Now, sleep. Hopefully I’ll be able to get on a more active blog post schedule. Apologies for incoherency, it’s been a trying week.
Great. A budding Smallville fan finds herself writing about the German Expressionist film Metropolis, directed by Fritz Lang. Haha. Just get this over with…
I think I’m going to spend the entirety of the Reading Period asleeep.
“Professor! Potter’s not letting me represent for the dark side!”
You’ve probably already seen this if you have a lot of LJ Friends in common with me, but this is definitely worth pointing out for those who haven’t heard it yet. Too funny!
