HOLY COW. DOLORES UMBRIDGE WORKS AT FRESH GROCER, AND HER NAME IS KATHLEEN.

I wish I’d had my camera with me, so that I could discreetly take a picture. She was maybe 5 feet tall, with short, thinning, curly, mousy-brown hair. Her back was curved. She had an enormous flap/pouch/goiter/whatever of skin on her neck (the size of her head) and her lower lip jutted out, making her look like a bullfrog. I kept expecting her to turn to me, smile, and say “Hem hem.” Totally surreal.

I’m back from Harrisburg, and with a huge update for the tnm.n Photography Section! Haha, and my friends were wondering what I was doing on my computer while we were watching movies and such. I uploaded photos from my week in Colorado late in the summer, and the pictures I took before nearly passing out one day in East Texas.

The massive post detailling our madcap exploits will come soon. Of course, I should probably write the second half of the Shindig post before that, so it might not be tonight.

Just a quick post to let the online world in on what’s the what! I’m at former-roommate Deep’s house in Harrisburg for Fall Break. Ko and Nikki are here, too. Yesterday, we went shopping at the King of Prussia, the second-biggest mall in the nation, and today we’re doing homework and studying like fiends. In our spare time, we have conquerred massive piles of dirt and claimed them for the Glory of Spain, and imparted to Deep’s little sister the danger of rogue bobcat/pumas, also known as the “bobuma.” Deep’s sister is reading Animorphs. My fandom heart just did a little dance.

I have internet access, and I’ll be checking my email, but I won’t be checking LJ or any other blogs. I’ll return Tuesday morning!

A joke to keep you company in my absence:

EDIT: EEEEW. On Deep’s computer, my new layout is a hideous, sickly green. Please tell me it’s pretty on all of your computers. I would be so sad if it wasn’t.

I could have sworn I’d read on IMDB two weeks ago that James was going to be on this week’s Smallville. One more week to go, apparently. Feh.
