I just saw “Super Size Me,” which I would recommend to anyone. Guh, I can feel every burger I’ve ever eaten…

This just in: Blaise Zabini is a boy. Honestly, I think this is going to create a greater upset in the fandom than Sirius’ death.

Man, and here I was hoping that this would be one of those mysteries of the books that would never be resolved. Alas.

Alan Cumming vs. Ray Park. I think I would have died. Ah, deleted scenes from early drafts of X2!

Also, if you hadn’t heard already, the original trilogy of Star Wars is finally coming to DVD. With new mutilations modifications from George Lucas! (But whatcha wanna bet that the matte lines on the Rancor are still there? XD) Check out the trailer here. Wow, I feel five years old again…

Woo-hoo! I am a technological goddess! We ended up needing a new router, so now that’s all resolved, and is it just me, or is this connection WAY faster than on our old one? Look at those pages go by, zoom!

In other news, the Firefly/Serenity Movie Blog is up! With a message from Nathan Fillion! I love my captain. :D

And in real news, a recent study shows that 55,000+ people who visited CNN.com today (about 1/3 who participated) are completely clueless.

So there really is going to be a Buffy cartoon? I thought that was a joke. It should be a joke. As Cyth said, the show really was meant to be acted. Come on, so much of the charm is in the cheesy TV-grade special effects! And it was so much fun to play “spot the demon body parts translated directly from Woochie!” And it would probably have to be dumbed down quite a bit to make it as a cartoon… urgh, not cool. I agree with Cyth, I’d rather see another spinoff. Spike! Or Ripper! And Giles could team up with the undead ghost of Jenny and fight crime as super genius librarian/computer science professors and OTP like mad! Woohoo!

Or, y’know, something.

So all yesterday and all this morning, our internet was down, which was not cool. I was on the phone with tech support for about 2 1/2, maybe 3 hours before I finally got it limping. We can now connect if I plug the modem straight into this computer, but the router is being finnicky, so only one computer (of the three in our house) can work at a time. Very uncool, especially as my mom’s computer has been designated The Chosen One, and I have to put up with her freaky monitor settings and such. Ah well, better than no connection at all! I shudder to think of catching up with LJ. Der.

And now: lunch!

I don’t think the phrase “good lord on a stick” quite does this justice.

In other news, Fleur has been cast. And in case you missed it, there’s a photo of the actor playing Cedric, as well.

And further squeeage from the Whedonverse!

Wow, the English language must hate me. :D

So I’m finally writing my letter to JKR, asking for permission to publish “What’s in a Name.” I’m describing Renata’s American Gods success story as an example of preceedent. Gah, it’s so weird to call Neil “Mr. Gaiman.”
