The Cult of Lincoln

JOY! Yesterday marked one year until Bush and his cronies are OUT OF HERE. As long as he's not replaced by a lunatic like Huckabee, I'd say we're in business!

A brief recap:

Testerday, Kristin came over and drew me for her painting class. As I posed, I watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, which I haven't seen since I was ikkle and tiny. Hilaaaaaaarious! Nightmare-inducing, but hilarious. It made me long for more 2D-animated features.

Saturday, we went to Dr. Sketchy's together. This session had an Adams' Family theme, and a splendid time was had by all! I now officially have a Dr. Sketchy's buddy. :D

This past week, I finally was able to sign my two-year contract at work. Yay job!

And that's all I have to say about that.

I've finally gotten around to posting my artsy photos from the massive Sappy Lincoln Narratives road trip, from the beginning of this summer. Maybe someday I'll actually write a blog entry about it! See photos from Dinosaur National Monument, Arches, Mesa Verde, The Grand Canyon, Antelope Point, Zion, Grand Canyon Caves, and Havasupai!

Then hurrah, the Doctor Sketchy's tradition continues! See my drawings here!

Two new creative-type posts in the LJ: a delightfully silly round-robin Dresden/Discworld crossover for Becky and a bunch of doodles from a figure drawing session at Dr. Sketchy's!
