EEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Dear English majors and minors and Austinians,

I write with exciting news. The Department of English, in coordination with the English Undergraduate Advisory Board and Hamilton College House, have managed to get Terry Jones [of Monty Python fame] to come to Penn on March 23rd. He'll be doing a talk from his most recent book, entitled "Who Murdered Chaucer?" Jones, it turns out, is both funny and scholarly, and the lecture really is (in Pythonesque) manner about Chaucer.

The event will be March 23rd at 6:00 pm, in the rooftop lounge of Hamilton College House. We're expecting a capacity crowd, so come early.

Jones will be on hand with his two new books and (hopefully others), signing books, and selling books. If you own any Monty Python books or records, you might want to get them signed (after you politely buy a new book!)

We're working at Hamilton, between now and then, to schedule several Monty Python films. We'll keep you posted on this.

Do come.
