Happy Birthday, Alicey!

For the fools that have not yet succumbed to my (and others') insistence that all must sample the Discworld series, this is Ponder Stibbons, the Jason Fox of Ankh-Morpork's wizard college, Unseen University. As always when Ponder is concerned, resemblance to Harry Potter is purely coincidental. Ponder was here first. Muah.

I originally planned to feature most of UU's faculty, but I decided after drawing most of Ponder that he and Hex would suffice in amusingness. This was mainly triggered by a realization that I can't draw orangutans. Because I originally planned to have the Librarian holding Ponder's hand (why not Rincewind?, I ask myself), his arm is at a very strange angle. He is now holding a hat instead, a joke entirely lost by freakish jpeg compression in shadow. The brim is shaped like a graduation cap.

I also realized while rereading 'Interesting Times' that I got Hex completely wrong, but at that point, I really didn't feel like starting over. Bah. Anyway, Hex includes the GBL (Great Big Lever) and FTB (Fluffy Teddy Bear), with my additions of SGS (Stinky Gym Socks) and SBL (Sparkly Blinking Lights).
